Six boys, a girl and a jungle.

Well, as you know I am in the jungle, again.  It's pretty sweet.  Each year it gets betterer and betterer (thank you Christine Caine for the words).  I have been an intern with 2 other girls before, but never with boys.  There are some slight differences.
1. Less Drama
2. More stinky clothes
3. More food consumed ( I can't make enough food for them)
4. Bigger Shoes
5. More help with heavy stuff
6. and... strapping young lads to carry heavy stuff.

Here's the low down on these 6 college boy interns.

Cameron aka... C.Todd: The brain.  Very much the one who will analyze anything an everything.  Loves sun screen.  Will run a mountain road and thinks the entire place is destroyed by Monkeys.   Most like Luke in the Bible.  Good thing, since he wants to be a doctor.  Very detailed and thinks things through.  Oh, would probably had packed a suitcase full of hand sanitizer if he knew.  I wish Erin was here to meat him, they would be best friends.

Henry aka... John Henry:  You know Johnny Cash, he ain't him.  But how else do you say Henry without thinking about John Henry and Johnny Cash? Likes having a side bar beard and clean shirt.  May be famous one day because he's a Florida Beach body in Virginia.  Classic half-way yankee.  Runs down roads and catches Jimny's with lightening speed.

Nick aka... Gimps: he got injured the first day.  He's the tall boy.  I think he could be the BFG if he wanted (think Roald Dahl).  This is the boy that's a goof.  The one that would be a goof in the back of a classroom but is actually really smart.  He is sweet too.  He talks a lot about his girlfriend.  He is 19!  I am hitting the late twenties and still single, but I will tell you, him and his girl will probably get married.

Carter-  For the longest time I thought his name was Steven.  Honestly, I  called him Steven for probably 3 days.  So now, he is know as Steven Carter. If he could be Matthew in the Bible, I think that is who he would be.  He  knows so much about the word, to be so young.  I just think about myself at his age, oh to just know the word like he does, when I was 19.  He reminds me of a grandpas figure.  You know, you can sit and talk with him about life.  To be so young and so wise is a rare combination.

Griffin- goes by griff.  He is a modern day David.  He is a warrior.  He gets up every morning, runs, jumps rope or lifts his homemade weights.  He is destined to greatness.  He is playing football for Davidson, which is right down the road from me.  He is the one I will be able to keep up with.  But Griffin he will be the leader of an army.  I don't know when or where, but he has a calling over his life and I see him leading armies.  That is kind of frightening because he is so young, but he looks like a warrior.  It may be because he wants to swing from trees like Tarzan.  Griffin can put down some food too, good thing he is the biggest help in the kitchen.  He is up every morning helping me with coffee and running the grill.  His momma has no idea what he can do, but I'm sure he will show her when he gets back to the states.

Addison- everyone's favorite hippie.  I swear, he is one that came out of Ashville.  I'm not very close to Addison because he kind of beats to his own drum, but I am sure I will get to know him better in the coming weeks.

This boys are great!  So where are all the great 26 year olds?  Just saying!?!?
